Kangkung, si tanaman perairan yang lezat

Kenapa saya sebut kangkung si tanaman perairan, karena memang kangkung termasuk salah satu jenis sayuran yang sangat senang sekali di tanam di daerah berair, berlumpur dan lembab. Di sinilah kangkung akan tumbuh dengan subur dan menghijau.

Tidak itu saja, bunga kangkung yang berbentuk terompet dengan perpaduan warna merah lembayung atau putih sangat indah di pandang mata. Dan tentu saja seluruh bagian tanaman muda kangkung dapat di makan termasuk batang mudanya. Dapat dimakan mentah atau dimasak dengan berbagai olahan.

Kangkung juga memiliki begitu banyak manfaat untuk kesehatan antara lain sebagai penenang atau mampu menetralisir racun, penuh zat besi dan mineral, pemasok betakaroten, kangkung kaya serat, memiliki kadar purin tinggi dan masih banyak lagi.

Berikut bahan dan cara membuatnya
Bahan - bahan :
  • 3 ikat kangkung
  • 4 buah bawang putih
  • 8 buah bawang merah
  • 15 buah cabai merah
  • 1 ruas lengkuas
  • 1 sdm terasi bakar
  • 2 sdm udang rebon
  • 2 sdt gula pasir
  • 1 sdt garam halus
  • Minyak Sayur secukupnya

  • Cara Membuatnya :

    1. Petik kangkung dengan mengambil daun serta bagian batangnya yang muda, tekan bagian batangnya yang muda menggunakan tangan hingga terpecah. Dan ambil juga bagian batang kangkung tersebut

    2. Cuci kangkung hingga benar-benar bersih lalu tiriskan sisa airnya

    3. Sementara itu iris tipis 8 buah bawang merah, 4 siung bawang putih, serta iris serong memanjang 15 buah cabai merah

    4. Keprek 1 ruas lengkuas yang sudah di bersihkan

    5. Panaskan minyak sayur di dalam wajan, setelah panas tumis bawang merah dan bawang putih hingga harum

    6. Masukkan 2 sdm udang rebon lalu aduk rata, tambahkan irisan cabai merah dan lengkuas

    7. Masukkan kangkung yang sudah di bersihkan dan di cuci, aduk hingga kangkung layu

    8. Tambahkan 2 sdm terasi bakar, 2 sdt gula pasir, dan 1 sdt garam halus. Kemudian aduk hingga benar-benar tercampur rata

    9. Diamkan sebentar lalu cicipi agar rasanya sesuai selera anda, lalu angkat dan sajikan

    Tumis kangkung terasi yang mantap rasanya

    Ada 2 cara menyiapkan bumbu-bumbu untuk memasak tumis kangkung terasi ini, yaitu dengan cara mengulek atau menumbuk halus semua bahan-bahan bumbu atau di iris seperti yang ada di resep saya diatas. Tetapi semua tergantung selera ya bunda...kalau menurut saya perbedaannya terletak dari rasa pedasnya, cabe yang di iris-iris seperti resep diatas tidak terlalu pedas rasanya meskipun kita menggunakan banyak cabe merah.

    Tetapi untuk bumbu-bumbu yang di ulek atau di tumbuk terutama cabe merah, sepertinya cocok bagi anda yang sangat menyukai rasa pedas yang mantap. Untuk terasi, bunda bisa menggunakan terasi panggang yang biasanya di jual dalam bungkus kecil-kecil siap pakai sebagai contoh terasi ABC misalnya. Yang sudah di cantumkan di bungkusnya sudah matang atau siap pakai.

    Untuk saya, saya menggunakan terasi biasa yang kemudian saya potong-potong persegi lalu kemudian saya panggang hingga kering. Terasi yang sudah di panggang ini bisa membuat tumisan kangkung anda benar-benar nikmat rasanya. So, Enjoy Your Cooking Mom :D

    Here are the ingredients and how to make it
    Ingredients :
  • 3 bunch of water spinach
  • 4 clove of garlic
  • 8 shallots
  • 15 pieces of red chili&lt
  • 1 vertebra galangal
  • 1 tablespoon shrimp paste
  • 2 tbsp rebon or small dried shrimp
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp fine salt
  • Vegetable Oil to taste

  • How To Make :

    1. Pick water spinach by taking a young leaves and the stems, then press the young stems by hand until the split. And take also part of the water spinach stems

    2. Wash the water spinach until it is completely clean and drain the remaining water

    3. Meanwhile, thinly sliced ??8 shallots, 4 cloves of garlic, as well as oblique slices lengthwise 15 pieces of red chili

    4. 1 vertebra galangal crushed that has been cleaned

    5. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan, after a hot saute shallots and garlic until fragrant

    6. Put 2 tablespoons rebon and mix well, add the red chili slices and galangal

But it all depends on your taste ya... if I think the difference lies on the spicy taste, chili in sliced ??like the above recipe is not too spicy taste although we use a lot of red chili.

    But for spices in the grind or mash especially red chili, seemed appropriate for those who love the taste of spicy steady. To shrimp paste, you can use grilled shrimp paste which are usually sold in small packs ready to use as a condiment for example ABC shrimp paste. That has been put on the wrapper is already cooked or ready to use.
