Mudah membuat corn dog, jajanan pasar ala Korea
Corn dog merupakan salah satu jajanan pasar yang terkenal di Korea, sebenarnya tidak hanya di Korea. Tetapi di Amerika juga banyak, taunya sih karena sering menonton salah satu channel youtube tentang street food yaitu camilan yang dijual di pinggir jalan.
Corn dog nama camilan yang aneh bukan ? disebut corn dog karena bentuknya yang menyerupai hot dog tetapi corn dog tidak memakai roti, corn dog merupakan jenis camilan yang di goreng dengan bahan utama sosis yang di balut tepung jagung manis sebagai salah satu bahannya. Dimakan bersama saus atau tidak, corn dog tetap menjadi salah satu camilan street food yang mendunia.
Corn dog di Korea sedikit berbeda dengan corn dog yang ada di street food nya Amerika. Di Amerika, corn dog nya biasa saja hanya sosis yang dibalut dengan tepung jagung, sedangkan di Korea ada yang dinamakan Gamja corndog yaitu corndog dicampur kentang yang dipotong dadu di bagian tepungnya.

Berikut bahan dan cara membuatnya
Bahan - bahan :
30 buah sosis 500 gram tepung terigu 1 buah jagung 1/2 sdm bawang putih bubuk 1/2 sdm penyedap rasa 1/4 sdt cabe bubuk 1/4 sdt lada putih 1/2 sdm bubuk tela-tela 1/2 sdm gula pasir 1/2 sdm baking soda 1 sdt garam Tusuk sate secukupnya Air secukupnya Minyak sayur untuk menggoreng
Cara Membuatnya :
1. Cacah halus 1 buah jagung manis, sisihkan terlebih dahulu
2. Campur 500 gram tepung terigu, 1/2 sdm bawang putih bubuk, 1/2 sdm penyedap rasa, 1/4 sdt cabe bubuk, 1/4 sdt lada putih, 1/2 sdm bubuk tela-tela, 1/2 sdm gula pasir, 1/2 sdm baking soda, dan 1 sdt garam
3. Aduk semua bahan kering, lalu tambahkan air sedikit demi sedikit hingga terbentuk adonan kental
4. Diamkan beberapa saat sampai adonan mengembang dengan terlihatnya pori-pori di dalam adonan
5. Sementara itu, tusuk sosis menggunakan tusuk sate
6. Panaskan minyak sayur di dalam wajan atau panci yang memungkinkan seluruh bagian sosis dapat terendam ketika di goreng
7. Masukkan sosis yang sudah di tusuk ke dalam adonan tepung sambil diangkat-angkat perlahan hingga adonan tepung menutupi seluruh bagian sosis
8. Goreng sosis di dalam minyak panas dalam posisi tegak, tunggu beberapa saat hingga sosis mengambang dan berwarna kuning kecoklatan lalu angkat dan tiriskan minyaknya
9. Sajikan corn dog bersama saus kesukaan anda

9. Sajikan corn dog bersama saus kesukaan anda

Kreasi Corn dog gaya rumahan
Corn dog yang saya buat ini hanya sosis dengan balutan tepung jagung. Jika tidak ada tepung jagung, anda bisa membuatnya dari 1 buah jagung manis yang di blender kemudian dicampurkan dengan adonan tepung terigunya. Sementara saya, saya menggunakan bubuk tela-tela dengan rasa jagung manis untuk dicampur ke dalam adonan tepung corn dog nya.
Lalu saya suka dengan tekstur jagung manis yang sedikit kasar dan timbul di bagian corn dog ketika di goreng, maka saya mencacah kasar jagung manis dan mencampurnya ke dalam adonan tepung corn dog. Jadi ketika di goreng jagung manis akan terlihat di tekstur corn dog nya. Tetapi terserah dengan kreasi bunda ya. So, Enjoy Your Cooking Mom :D

6. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan that allow all parts of the sausage can be submerged when fried
7. Enter the sausage is already on the skewer into the flour mixture while slowly lifted to cover all parts of sausages with flour batter
8. Fry sausage in hot oil in an upright position, wait a few minutes until sausage floating brownish-yellow and then remove and drain oil
9. Serve corn dog along with your favorite sauce
