Resep sayuran yang satu ini memang ciri khas Indonesia. Dengan bumbu yang sederhana, tambahan terasi di dalam sayur asem merupakan salah satu bahan andalan untuk sayur asem yang di masak di dapur kusNeti. 

Menurut saya, kurang sedap rasanya memasak sayur asem kalau tanpa terasi, jadi saya sering menyediakan terasi yang sudah di panggang dan di simpan di dalam sebuah toples kedap udara untuk memudahkan ketika akan digunakan untuk berbagai masakan. Untuk sayur asem salah satunya, dan berbagai macam masakan seperti sambal-sambal khas Indonesia.

Berikut saya bagikan resep sayur asem yang sering saya masak di rumah...
Bahan Sayuran :
  • 4 lembar kubis
  • 2 lembar sawi putih
  • 5 buah kacang panjang
  • 1 genggam daun melinjo
  • 1 buah jagung manis
  • 1/2 buah labu siam
  • 10 buah melinjo
  • 1 genggam kacang tanah
  • 1 genggam kecambah besar
Bumbu - bumbu :
  • 6 buah cabai merah
  • 4 siung bawang merah
  • 1 buah kemiri
  • 1 sdm terasi 1 sdm asam jawa
  • 1 ruas lengkuas di memarkan
  • 4 lembar daun salam
  • Garam dan gula secukupnya
  • Air secukupnya
Cara Membuat :
  1. Bersihkan semua bahan sayuran, cuci dan tiriskan lalu potong sesuai selera
  2. Giling kasar 6 buah cabai merah, 4 siung bawang merah, 1 buah kemiri, 1 sdm terasi dan 1 sdm asam jawa
  3. Masukkan air secukupnya ke dalam panci yang sudah di siapkan
  4. Masukkan bumbu yang sudah di giling, masukkan juga lengkuas yang sudah di memarkan lalu 4 lembar daun salam
  5. Selanjutnya masukkan 1 buah jagung manis yang sudah dipotong-potong, 10 buah melinjo, 1/2 buah labu siam yang sudah dipotong, 1 genggam kacang tanah dan 1 genggam kecambah besar
  6. Masak semua bahan tadi hingga hingga setengah matang
  7. Lalu masukkan sayuran yang lainnya, tambahkan garam dan gula sesuai selera
  8. Didihkan sebentar hingga sayuran sedikit layu, lalu angkat
  9. Sayur asem siap disajikan

Mudah bukan cara memasaknya, tidak perlu waktu yang lama untuk membuatnya. Semua jenis bahan sayur-sayuran tersedia dalam satu porsi. Sayuran nya tidak perlu dimasak terlalu lama agar nutrisi dalam sayuran nya tetap terjaga. So, Enjoy Your Cooking Mom :D

This one vegetable recipes is typical of Indonesia. With a simple seasoning, extra shrimp in Sayur Asem is one of the mainstay material for sayur asem cooked in the kitchen kusNeti.

According to me, the less savory taste sour when cooking this recipe without shrimp paste, so I often provide shrimp paste that has been baked and stored in an airtight jar to make it easier when it would be used for a variety of cuisines. For sayur asem, and a variety of dishes such as chili-sauce typical of Indonesia.


Here I share sour vegetable recipe that I often cook at home ...
Vegetables Ingredients :
  • 4 pieces of cabbage
  • 2 sheets of napa cabbage
  • 5 pieces of long beans
  • 1 handful of gnetum gnemon leaves
  • 1 piece of sweet corn
  • Half of chayote fruit
  • 10 pieces of gnetum gnemon fruit
  • 1 handful of peanuts
  • 1 large handful of sprouts

Seasonings - seasoning :
  • 6 red chilies
  • 4 spring onions
  • 1 hazelnut
  • 1 tablespoon shrimp paste
  • 1 tbsp tamarind
  • 1 vertebra galangal in crushed
  • 4 bay leaves
  • Salt and sugar to taste
  • Enough water

How To Make :
  1. Clean all materials vegetables, wash and drain then cut to taste
  2. Coarse ground 6 pieces red chilies, 4 cloves of onions, 1 piece of hazelnut, 1 tablespoon shrimp paste and 1 tbsp tamarind
  3. Enter enough water into the pan that has been prepared
  4. Enter a spice that has been milled, enter also already in the crushed vertebra galangal and 4 bay leaves
  5. Next enter 1 piece of sweet corn that has been cut into pieces, 10 pieces of gnetom gnemon fruit, half of chayote is cut, 1 handful of peanuts and 1 handful of large sprouts
  6. Cook all ingredients had been up until half cooked
  7. Then enter the other vegetables, add salt and sugar to taste
  8. Simmer briefly until slightly wilted vegetables, then lift
  9. Sayur asem ready to be served
